Costa Rican coffee is like a hidden gem in the coffee world. Much of its coffee is produced by micro producers and cultivated on plots of 12 acres or less. Because of the smaller plots, the beans are more unique and better quality. Costa Rica is the only country in the world where the cultivation of non 100% Arabica beans is illegal.  This is how seriously they take their coffee. The production of coffee began in 1779, and contributes to much of their agricultural production and cash flow.

It is said that the best coffee in Costa Rica comes from the West Valley and Tarrazu, which is about 45 miles south of the capital city. This regions has a unique, cooler climate, higher elevations, and volcanic soil. These factors give it a smooth, and balanced taste. Coffee connoisseurs consider Costa Rican coffee as one of the best in the world.

Huila, Colombia is the largest producer of coffee in Colombia. With 16 different coffee producing regions and many different mountain ranges, Colombia has two coffee harvests per year. This makes them one of the biggest producers of coffee in the world.

This coffee was sourced from small family owned farms in Huila. They learned their trade from other coffee producing providences by working hard as coffee pickers. When they returned home, they quickly put to use their coffee knowledge and created one of the most productive coffee farms. They gained recognition around the world quickly and with easy access to both the Atlantic and Pacific made themselves one of the easiest, best quality suppliers to export coffee from.

Ingredients

Coffee beans

Storing Instructions

Our coffee is packaged in high barrier layered bags designed to eliminate moisture and sunlight. The bags also contain one way valves which allow the beans to degass on their own. This combination allows the beans to stay fresh for weeks on the counter or in a cabinet. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing the beans.
